UX/UI, WEBSITE DESIGN, USER RESEARCH, BRANDING
Concept for a crowdfunding start-up creating a first-of-its-kind platform that focuses on helping small businesses raise the funds they need to launch. The goal of this concept project was to develop a full single page marketing website for them that explains their product/value proposition and use cases to both potential investors and small businesses applying for funding. Another ask was to come up with the company name and branding such as typography, logo, and color palette.
CLIENT: CROWDSURFER
Starting a business can already be a daunting endeavor, so when new entrepreneurs are looking for funds to make their dreams come true, it’s important to make the process as easy as possible for them.
Outlining the ease of use for Crowdsurfer in 3 simple steps was an important part of this project, to help make this part of the process easier for the entrepreneur and ultimately have them sign-up to use the platform.
The differentiator of this client is their focus on the growing demand for unique and original in-person experiences and connecting these brick & mortar concepts to the rise of the “Experience Economy”.
Through full bleed imagery of a concert experience and showcasing a few top trending projects, the goal is to entice both entrepreneurs and investors who want to create or be a part of creating in real life experiences such as restaurants, pop-up stores, bars, concerts, etc.
Wire Frames
Initial wire frames show the different CTA to sign-up which was the major KPI of this project. It was important to strategically place these sign-up buttons throughout the page after the value propositions for both investor and entrepreneurs had been explained.
Style Guide & Branding
Vibrant colors were chosen to go along with the fun and experience driven concept. The name “Crowdsurfer” was chosen to combine the traditional “crowdfunding” term, while also playing to the experience based businesses to differentiate this platform from others.
